Motability Scheme’s new pricing list reinforces commitment to affordable vehicles for disabled drivers: Motability Scheme price list July 2024-2

Motability Operations, the organisation which runs the life changing Motability Scheme has just released its new price list.

The new list boasts over 900 vehicles, offering Scheme customers a great range of affordable and accessible options.

As prices across the car industry rise, Motability Operations has continued to invest in the Scheme to keep prices affordable for customers. Every lease comes with a worry-free package which includes insurance, breakdown assistance, servicing, maintenance, tyres and windscreen repairs. Individually each of these costs has significantly risen over the last twelve months, however the Scheme remains 48% cheaper than any other leasing alternative.

With manufacturers producing more electric vehicles (EVs) to meet the Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) Mandate, the company is ensuring lots of choice for EVs. Cars on the latest list include:

  • From 0 advance payment: The Renault Megane e-Tech, EV60 160kW Evolution Comfort Range 60kWh, with a driving range up to 280 miles.

Motability Operations knows EVs might not work for many of its customers, so the company still offers a wide range of petrol and diesel models to ensure all customers can stay connected to their family and friends and the world around them.

“Our real measure of success is ensuring our customers remain mobile and access the freedom the Scheme promises at an affordable price," says Lisa Thomas, Chief Marketing Officer at Motability Operations. “We’re seeing costs rising across the industry and our role is to ensure we can continue to provide our customers with value and ensure the sustainability of the Scheme now and in the future.”

The organisation is working on a range of solutions to making leasing an EV easier on the Motability Scheme. Benefits include:

  • The Motability Go Charge app and card offers a one-stop solution to access and pay for over 70% of all rapid chargepoints across the UK, with no subscription fees
  • For those customers with access to off-street parking the company will also arrange and cover the cost of a home chargepoint with their supplier Ohme, having installed over 46,000 chargepoints so far.
  • The company is also looking at pilot schemes for customers living in flats and terraced housing so they can access charging, ensuring no one is left behind in the transition to electric.

The new price list demonstrates Motability Operations continuation to offer a diverse range of vehicles to suit customer needs right now. Customers who aren’t ready to switch to an EV can still choose from a selection of high-quality, petrol and diesel vehicles.
