We provide worry-free mobility solutions to recipients of the government’s higher rate mobility allowance. Our customers choose to exchange their mobility allowance to lease a car, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV), scooter or powered wheelchair through the Scheme.   

We provide both the right vehicle for our customers’ needs and the worry-free package that comes with it, including insurance, roadside assistance, tyres, servicing and more. On average, our package is 45% cheaper than the cost of an alternative commercial leasing option and the Motability Scheme currently has an impressive customer satisfaction rating of 9.6 out of 10.

Since we were founded over 45 years ago, we have grown to be the largest leasing company in the UK, buying around 13% of all new cars in the UK each year. We have over 1,500 employees across offices in London, Bristol, Edinburgh and Coalville. We are also the largest supplier of used cars, selling around 220,000 cars each year through mfldirect, our B2B vehicle remarketing brand.

As a purpose-driven and customer-focused organisation we don’t pay shareholder dividends; any money we make from running the Scheme is reinvested to create the most positive impact for our 700,000 customers.
